Doug Roehm currently serves as the President and Lead Strategic Consultant of Strategic Services Group. As an industry practice leader, he has 30+ years’ experience servicing clients as it pertains to business relations and is responsible for the design, management and implementation of cost-effective employee benefit strategies and solutions for his clients.
He is a transformative business partner and health care innovator that brings people, resources and ideas together to architect new solutions for today, tomorrow and well into the future. Roehm is driven by a desire to understand and be of service to the people and organizations that he connects with and harnessing the passion of SSG to improve the lives of others.
In his role as Strategic Consultant, Doug provides a strong technical and analytical skillset, and is focused on the financial management and long-term planning of benefit plan solutions that incorporate emerging trends and drive results for middle-market organizations. His clients vary across a range of industries, including Fortune 500 companies, manufacturing, public sector, municipalities, hospitals and casinos with a specific niche in Native American Populations - 340b, Medicare, retiree segments, among others.
Roehm currently serves as a Shareholder within UBA Partner Firm and is also Co-Chair, of the Products, Tools & Services Committee within UBA (United Benefit Advisors). He has served on numerous agent advisory boards throughout his career and was formerly VP of Strategic Relationships of the Detroit SHRM Chapter.
Doug graduated from Hope College with a B.A. in Business, Economics & Math and is a Licensed Insurance Counselor (LIC) and Life, Accident, Health Insurance Agent. He also earned a certification from the National Native American Human Resource Association (NNAHRA) and is a Certified Tribal Human Resource Professional (THRP).
He is active in the community and is a proud supporter of the Hope Water Project and is an active volunteer with Gleaners Community Food Bank.
Greg Sudderth currently serves as CEO and Lead Strategic Consultant of Strategic Services Group, a leading employee benefits consulting and insurance brokerage firm headquartered in Southeast Michigan.
With over 30 years of experience as a practice leader in the health insurance industry, Sudderth leads SSG’s vision and strategy on delivering access and choice to healthcare and benefits for small and mid-sized businesses. He provides a strong financial and analytical skillset and understands how to accelerate growth across organizations by taking an idea and turning it into a scalable business.
As a strategic consultant, Greg is instrumental in the development, management and execution of implementing cost-effective benefit plans, and helping clients manage productivity, performance and compliance within their organization. He is focused on the financial management and long-term planning of benefit plan solutions that incorporate emerging trends and drive results for clients across a range of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, and financial institutions.
Greg earned a BS in Business Management & Economics and is a licensed Life, Accident & Health Insurance Agent.

We have worked with Strategic Services for several years now and it has been a very rewarding partnership.
